Punkbuster status bf3

Hi all guys! im interested to buy this hack, looks very complete and cool, but i would know honestly which is the ban probabily using it, i've heard around the web that punkbuster it's not updated anymore for bf3, and so it's safe to use hacks, is that a bullshit? or there is a lower chance to get banned? thanks!
