I'm a returning user from several years ago and I just have a few questions. I've since purchased the hack and much of the information here on running it is based on the old Origin and Windows 10 more or less. It appears now from reading I've done so far, mind you still catching up here please bear with me, Windows 11 seems to be supported, however, the new EA app has superseded Origin. I want to be sure and I'll list my version below, operating on a laptop with 13980/4070 mobile with Windows 11 24H2:
Edition Windows 11 Pro
Version 24H2
Installed on 10/4/2024
OS build 26100.2605
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.36.0
I proceeded to follow all of the pre req's as I had done the last time I used the hack in 2018, all with no issues, disabling the necessary items in the Hack loader guide etc. However, the game seems to want to start within the Battlelog in the browser rather than the game itself which is IMHO the more secure way. Is there a reason for this and is there EA app and Windows 11 specific updated info that applies to the hack guide? thank you and very much looking forward to using the hack once again.
Update: I also use the Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes All-in-One from here: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/visual-c-redistributable-runtime-package-all-in-one/
I'm assuming these are fine for use. Lastly, since the EA app is what we use, there's no drop down on the 32 or 64-bit .exes as it was within Origin, so is it the same to just start the game from a shortcut for the "bf4_x86.exe" instead? I'll assume also the the Game Overlay within the EA app should be disabled as well?
